Brooklyn born but raised in Westchester County, I've always had a desire to pursue creativity. After graduating from Carnegie Mellon University and serving his apprenticeship in New York, a period of overseas residency was critical to forming a greater sense of perspective, objectivity and artistry. Time spent in Melbourne, Australia introduced me to a holistic approach to design that took nature into account in a way that was far ahead of standard practice in the US. Six years in Prague, CzR, provided a reevaluation of creativity through the changing of place, language, customs and career. Trading in architecture to lead a creative team for the international advertising firm EuroRSCG gave a great appreciation of the financial consequences of design decisions while instilling a knowledge of branding that is unique to architecture.
Back in New York City and Brooklyn since 1999, I've worked for a series of architecture firms that held creativity as paramount to the process of design until starting his own firm in 2008. My experience has covered residential, retail, hospitality and a little corporate design.
